In college life, we have to decide our future paths. The major mistake done by most of the students was following the crowd or friends and they are not expanding their knowledge of career options. And then they thought that a good career happens automatically after completing the degree. But the sad truth is something that doesn’t happen with the degree, it is something one has to make. A college degree is only for the first Job and the rest only comes with the skills. First, choose your career path with guidance and work hard to achieve your goals.

Not Using Internet Resources Effectively:

The Internet is one of the biggest resources to learn something and gain knowledge about the skills. It can improve the quality of education and it gives the doorway to gain knowledge and increase the opportunity for learning. A lot of online courses and resources are available. But they show a lack of interest in those aspects. They only show interest in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, other social media, etc. However, the usage of social is a good thing anyhow it will affect education and career. We are requesting our younger generation not to show more interest in social media than education.

Rote Learning and Last Night Study:

Many students memorize the content overnight to get good marks. Is it sounds good for a career? Not at all. You can get good marks but it will not be helpful in your entire life. So making the habit of understanding the concepts and fundamentals.

Focusing Too Much on CGPA & Backlogs:

We can agree, that the CGPA is very important to complete the engineering but that is not enough, right?. When the students start focusing only on good grades, there is a lack of knowledge in their careers. Getting good marks will help you only in interview calls but there is no guarantee for getting the job. Many students are getting good marks even though they got backlogs and low grades. So the CGPA is not only important to choosing a good career. Focusing on CGPA is a good thing, on the other hand, they have to gain knowledge about career planning.

Not Developing Communication Skills:

Good communication skill is very important to stay on the job. People who are better at delivering their ideas and able to communicate more effectively are more successful in their jobs. Many students don’t show their interest in developing communications. One of the common pieces of advice for all the students is to develop communication skills by making presentations, talking to a lot of people, and participating in a group discussions will improve communication skills.

The technical competition gives the chance to gain experience, and skills and evaluate outcomes and it provides a great platform to show your knowledge. It helps you to distinguish yourself from other students. The most common reason for the students not to participate in the competition was laziness and lack of concentration.

Doing Random Courses:

The company expects freshers only to be good at basics. They will train you according to the requirements. Many students fall into unwanted courses and wasted their time and money. This is the most common mistake made by engineering students.

Not Giving Importance to Projects:

Many students are buying projects from project centers and seniors. Is it is good? This is the best misuse of their intelligence and money. Without practical knowledge, you will not be survived in any industry. The well-done projects will give you a good job. Guys, don’t buy any projects. Try it on your own.

Not Giving Importance to Health:

Without being physically and mentally healthy, no one will not be able to get a proper education. Many students in their college have skipped their breakfast because of their laziness. Insufficient sleep and poor eating habits give problems to the health. Students, nothing is more important than your health. The master has failed more times than the beginner has tried. How many times you get failed doesn’t matter, the important thing is how many times you pick yourself up and always try to achieve your goals.
